World's cheapest smartphone is here!

The cheapest of what one can expect from a smartphone is $4. Yeah! That’s quiet strange but just a few days ago in India, world’s cheapest phone came in discovery until now by the name Freedom 251, manufactured by Ringing Bells. The name Freedom 251 has a story behind, the price as per Indian Rupees is 251 and such an inexpensive device affordable for even the lowest categorized person there that allows ‘freedom’ for everyone to purchase.

Let’s give a quick review on its feature, Freedom 251 has a 4 inch display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB Ram and 8GB Rom, other than this it has 1450 mAh battery and 3.2 megapixel back and 0.3 megapixel front camera along with this it also provide us with a 32 Gb SD-Card slot.

 

Besides its price it comes with android latest version of Lollipop 5.1, and a few basic apps pre-installed such as Facebook, YouTube, Google Play and WhatsApp.

 

Microsoft To Acquire Swift-Key

Microsoft after the great loss on Lumia is prepared for a new investment to earn a huge sum of profit. It has decided to acquire London’s Al-Driven Swift-Key for $250 million. The firms have already been talking over this and have brought about the acquiring decision into the staff’s knowledge. Swift-Key raised a total of $21.59 million investment from Octopus and Index Venture, other than that UK celebrity Stephen Fry has also aided a bit.

At the moment Swift-Key is running on more than 300 million android and IOS devices. Thanks to its increasing technology, which is highly time saving and can help Microsoft more than just a keyboard.

Bad News for Lumia users!!

Windows phone are in deep trouble, Microsoft CEO Mr. Satya Nadella thought of making a good business out Lumia series after spending $7.2 billion in acquiring Nokia but in the end he gave up on the Windows Phone. Mr. Nadella had already redundant 7800 workers and is up for making some more. Microsoft consider itself doing what it is good at rather than wasting away time and money. It rather has decided to make a new series of flagship phones that are even going to surpass the generation of windows phones in the future.

Microsoft may deny the fact but the truth is that Microsoft has lost out on mobile devices. This is very much prominent with the weak sales, no more hiring and heavy investment in the growth of Lumia and fewer apps than App Store and Play Store due to no support from software developers. The only reason for the sale of Lumia phone is that either they are cheap or users need a substitute cell phone.

Something after Next is Now!! The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

I hope my users must be impressed by the newly launched Samsung Gear S2 series and must be wearing it right on the wrist now. But I doubt the users might be upset about their cell phones, if you own a S6 or even Note 5 still you won’t be feeling comfortable with these. I got something new and exciting for you from the market. Guess what??

The new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Both the models are smart and stylish, there is not much difference between the both except for a few basic ones. The S7 has a display of 1440 X 2560 pixels - 5.1 inch HD Amole display, however, S7 edge got a 1440 X 2560 - 5.5 inch HD Amole display. S7 and S7 Edge got a 3000 mAh and 3600 mAh battery size, respectively. S7 and S7 Edge both got an Exynos 8 Octal 8890 or most probably Snap-dragon 820 chipset. Both the devices won’t let your work stuck in the middle, they got a Quad-Core 2.3 GHz in addition a Quad-Core 1.6 GHz processor. They have a built-in 4 GB RAM and 32 or 64 GB ROM with the access of 200 GB memory SD card!! This may look really surprising but yeah this is the truth. Capture a crystal clear picture with a 12 megapixel camera with f/1.7 lens.

S7 and S7 edge both are expected by the mid of February. An approximate price – not the exact – is expected to be between 599 Euros to 650 Euros. According to Samsung they consider S7 as a flagship device. Surprisingly, rumors are at wide-spread and speak something like this, that S7 is designed according to the IP67 standard. This means that S7 and S7 edge both are going to be dust proof and water resistant. They can immerse up to the range of 15cm to 1m!! Believe me or not??

Want to look classy?? Try the new series of Samsung Gear S2 smart watch. The newly launched Samsung Gear S2 has more shades than Mr.Grey. The series include a Gear S2, Gear S2 Classic and Gear S2 3G but not Gear S2 Classic 3G.

By now, users already must have an idea that Samsung has got a wide range with a small market segmentation and niche market. There is not much difference among these wide range of classical pieces. But the sight of Gear S2 and S2 classic matters.

The Gear S2 is specialized for fast moving young generation. It’s although namely not classic but still looks classy between the age ranges 15 to 30. Let’s ponder over it a bit more so the users can grasp its features easily. The Gear S2 got no cellular technology and NFC but it supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Gear S2 3G has a special feature of allowing access of cellular data other than that it is all same as Gear S2.  A surprising news states that the new Gear S2 will also work with other android devices as well as IPhone later this year.  The price range of these series starts onwards US $350.

     

Nokia Lumia 940 and 940 XL

While my last two blogs have been over Lumia, so let’s move with the flow. This time it’s over 940 and 940 XL. While 940 is not in Pakistan’s market so do 940 XL, it will be difficult for me to inform about its price, however, I’ll not keep by my audience on a blur line and will specify each and every specification other than price. One thing more in the end I’m going to reveal a SHOCKING and a SURPRISING news!!!

A 5.2 inch full HD (1920 × 1080) screen Lumia 940 is nothing more than a blessing, with a vivid display. An outclass 20 megapixel back camera and 5 megapixel front camera to shoot a wide and long range of photos with a high class display. It has a 32GB built-in ROM and a 3GB RAM. As well as Lumia 940 got a high speed snap-dragon 808 processor.

If 940 is making you feel on the 7th sky than 940 XL will make you feel like heaven. The 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 × 1440) screen 940 XL, now video-chat with your friends over Skype as well with the complete Microsoft Office package work anywhere at anytime on a large screen. If 940 is fast with an 808 snap-dragon processor than 940 XL is superfast with an 810 snap-dragon processor. Now, the SHOCKING news is that there are rumor out in the market about 940 and 940 XL are made up of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is actually thermoplastic, usually phones are made up of metal or hard plastic but this Lumia is made up of polycarbonate. This is nothing to be worried about because polycarbonate is used in engineering, however, this is upto the users that how they react to the model though it looks that its going to be something new and classy because polycarbonate is slightly transparent.

Now, let me reveal the SURPRISING news. Lumia 940 and 940 XL got an iris scanner. Iris scanner works with a two small infra-red cameras in the front. These are other than the front camera that is usually used for selfies. The iris scanner camera 1 helps scan your eyes while the other takes a picture of your eyes and then the phone verifies your eyes which will unlock your eye pattern. But to use this eye unlock pattern you need to set up a pin code for back-up. 

Nokia Lumia 640 and 640XL

There are gossips in the market about the just launched Nokia Lumia 640 and 640XL. Lets be pondering over the 640 it seems it has a big range of its own category.  Nokia not just got Lumia 640 but it also got 640 XL and even 640 XL also have a wide range of itself. It got 640 XL LTE, 640 XL Dual SIM and 640 XL LTE Dual SIM.

There is not much difference between 640 and 640 XL. Though there are a few features of them that the user can easily identify and differentiate between both of them. Let’s start with a simple specification that is weight; for Lumia 640 it is 145g and for 640 XL is 171g. Lumia 640 has a 5 inch wide screen, whereas, 640 XL has got a 5.7 inch screen. The back or rear camera is 8 megapixel for 640 and 13 megapixel for 640 XL. Considerably, the last difference between both the models is the front camera that may not look that important but as users are usually too much in the fashion of selfie these days, so it does matter!!
