While my last two blogs have been over Lumia, so let’s move with the flow. This time it’s over 940 and 940 XL. While 940 is not in Pakistan’s market so do 940 XL, it will be difficult for me to inform about its price, however, I’ll not keep by my audience on a blur line and will specify each and every specification other than price. One thing more in the end I’m going to reveal a SHOCKING and a SURPRISING news!!!
If 940 is making you feel on the 7th sky than 940 XL will make you feel like heaven. The 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 × 1440) screen 940 XL, now video-chat with your friends over Skype as well with the complete Microsoft Office package work anywhere at anytime on a large screen. If 940 is fast with an 808 snap-dragon processor than 940 XL is superfast with an 810 snap-dragon processor. To capture every moment on-spot 940 XL got the same 20 megapixel back and 5 megapixel front camera. In memory 940 and 940 XL both are upto the same mark.
Now, the SHOCKING news is that there are rumor out in the market about 940 and 940 XL are made up of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is actually thermoplastic, usually phones are made up of metal or hard plastic but this Lumia is made up of polycarbonate. This is nothing to be worried about because polycarbonate is used in engineering, however, this is upto the users that how they react to the model though it looks that its going to be something new and classy because polycarbonate is slightly transparent.
Now, let me reveal the SURPRISING news. Lumia 940 and 940 XL got an iris scanner. Iris scanner works with a two small infra-red cameras in the front. These are other than the front camera that is usually used for selfies. The iris scanner camera 1 helps scan your eyes while the other takes a picture of your eyes and then the phone verifies your eyes which will unlock your eye pattern. But to use this eye unlock pattern you need to set up a pin code for back-up.
